About Me
Hi! I'm Amy and I'm the face behind the lens of SmackDab Photography.
SmackDab Photography evolved over many years. Starting with a passion for taking photos just after the birth of my daughter 11 years ago. My interest only grew, as did my collection of cameras and lenses and after having had my son, I decided to do something I love for a living.
My children are my inspiration and I am so aware how important it is to capture them as they grow. Therefore my business plan was that I want to be able to offer an affordable option to everyone- with no catches.
I want to be able to photograph you and your family in the most natural way I can. I want to avoid any awkwardness, and ensure everyone feels comfortable- definitely, no forced smiles if I can help it. There is nothing more I want than to catch you all mid giggle, or when siblings are showing their love to one another and I have a bag of tricks to help coax even the most reluctant child or adult child there is :)
My love of homes and design has also transformed into adding Real estate and design photography to my specialties. If you let me photograph your home, I am sure you find that I see the little things that make that house a home.
